Have you ever the expression that a car was “T-Boned” and wondered what it meant? A T-bone accident is one in which the front of a vehicle collides with the side of another vehicle. These collisions thus form the shape of a “T”. Such accidents are also commonly referred to as “side impact” collisions or “broadside” type accidents, since the broad or long side of a vehicle is struck by another vehicle, such as a car, van, truck, or bus.
