9 People Injured in Hell's Kitchen Accident Resulting in SUV Jumping Curb

A driver’s attempt to beat a red light resulted in a chain of collisions ending up with the SUV on the sidewalk and 9 people injured. According to CBS New York, the SUV accelerated through the light and contacted multiple vehicles prior to jumping the curb. Eyewitnesses report that the SUV struck one person on the sidewalk. Eight passengers of vehicles were also injured. The full extent of the injuries is not known at this time.
