A 56-year old woman, whose name was not released, was seriously injured in an accident with a van on 6th Avenue in Manhattan. As reported by DNAINFO.COM, she was struck by a white van outside 1211 Sixth Ave., between West 47th and 48th streets, about 9:16 a.m. on Thursday. Witnesses report that she sustained a serious injury to her leg describing it as being mangled/ She was taken via ambulance to Bellevue Hospital.
