Carotid artery stenosis is a narrowing or blocking of the carotid arteries -- the two main arteries at each side of the neck.
Coronary artery stenosis is a narrowing or constriction of the heart arteries.

If properly and timely diagnosed, stenosis may be treated with balloon angioplasty, stents and other medical procedures.
