Stephen E. Jenkins
Stephen Jenkins joined the Firm in 2001 after having been a partner in a major personal injury firm for almost 20 years. For the past 30 years, his practice has been concentrated in the area of medical malpractice.
Mr. Jenkins’ focus is building the foundation of a case. He brings to his cases a strong understanding of both complex legal issues and medical issues. Having an engineering background prior to law school has trained Mr. Jenkins to value foundation and structure. A trial or settlement is the end product of a complex process that begins with establishing the necessary foundation upon which a case is structured.
Mr. Jenkins is highly qualified to take the testimony of defendant physicians in all fields of medicine. He dedicates long hours familiarizing himself with the details of each case by extensively reviewing hospital and medical charts, consulting with top notch medical experts and relying on his own medical knowledge amassed over his long career. His goal is to get the necessary testimony to establish liability and damages. Mr. Jenkins’ extensive preparation and attention to detail make his cases stronger and trial ready.
